TONKA BEAN

Derived from the Dipteryx Odorata, a majestic tree native to South America, Tonka Beans—locally called sarrapia—are treasured for their warm, gourmand aroma. Harvesting Tonka Beans is a deeply rooted tradition passed down through generations. The process begins with collecting the fallen fruits from the forest floor, which are then cracked open by hand to extract the precious beans. These beans are carefully sorted and dried locally for several days, preserving their rich, distinctive scent before they are sold. This artisanal process captures the essence of Tonka Bean’s enduring warmth and sweetness, making it a cherished ingredient in modern perfumery.

PERU BALSAM

Peru Balsam is a rich, dark resin, typically brown or reddish in color, derived from the Myroxylon Tree—whose name translates from Greek to "fragrant wood." Harvested through careful incisions in the tree's bark, the resin initially flows with a semi-liquid consistency, gradually solidifying upon exposure to air before forming natural cracks. Its complex aroma, warm and balsamic, lends depth and sophistication to any composition it graces.
